Teaching "Great in 8" Month (February 2025)

Teaching "Great in 8" Month

In 2024 麻豆影视 Teach transitioned just over 60% of its courses from a 16-week to 8-week format.  This transition is aimed at increasing student success and helping to achieve timely completion getting them to well-paying jobs sooner.

Objectives

  1. Share experiences related to the eight-week courses.
  2. Continue to build awareness of transition to 8 weeks.
  3. Explore the various perspectives of the 8-week transition.
  4. Present workshops highlighting active learning approaches to support 8-week courses.

AI Awareness Month

Education Disrupted: Artificial Intelligence (AI) in Focus

Here at 麻豆影视 we recognize the impact of Artificial Intelligence (AI) on Higher Education. It is quickly evolving and changing the way we do things. This February we are making a concerted effort to build awareness about the impact of AI on what we do here at 麻豆影视.

Goal

This month, our goal is to understand the impact of AI on what we do. AI is everywhere now. If you have yet to give it some thought, you will be equipped with enough information by the end of the month to further explore AI. Ready or not, AI will impact us, our students, and how we do things. We need to be prepared.

Objective

AI Awareness Month activities will teach college members about the possible impact of AI on our institution. During the month of February, we hope to:

  1. Build an awareness of AI.
  2. Explore the implications of AI for us here at 麻豆影视.
  3. Participate in discussions and training activities related to AI.
  4. Recommend actions related to using AI in areas of the college.
